Maritime transport plays a pivotal role in the economic, social, and environmental aspects of Malaysia, a nation with extensive coastlines and vital maritime connections. This study aim to examine the economic impact of Maritime Transport in Malaysia. The study evaluates the economic effects of maritime transport through descriptive analysis and multiplier assessments. Results indicate a positive trend in value-added and labor benefits within the maritime sector. Furthermore, recommendations are provided to improve Malaysia's maritime infrastructure, bolstering its competitiveness and resilience in the face of evolving global trade dynamics. These include initiatives to promote green shipping practices, harness technology for logistical efficiency, and invest in port infrastructure expansion. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the enduring significance of maritime transport to Malaysia's economic growth and calls for proactive measures to harness its potential amidst changing global landscapes.
