This paper analyzes the Korea and Mexico competitiveness in the USA market on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the North American Free Trade Agreement. Since the american market is the most important one for the two said developing countries, it has had an major impact on the economic relationship of the three countries above mentioned. This article finds out that besides the tariff discrimination effect of NAFTA, the institutional characteristics of NAFTA and other external variables have been important in shaping the actual economic relationship among the tree countries.
