The article analyzes theoretical and methodological foundations of conceptual approaches regarding the improvement of the mechanism of state regulation of institutional changes in the labor market based on the scientific basis of the institutional approach to the subject of research in the national economy. The author concludes that there unformed model of effective organizational and economic mechanism of state regulation of institutional changes in the labor market in Ukraine and provides composite, which would improve the existing mechanism, which defines the set of legal, organizational, economic and social activities developed and implemented in the State towards the creation of new and old reform inefficient institutions, the social and institutional labor market for employment.
