The Urban Services Improvement Investment Program was to cover six secondary towns to help focus on infrastructure investment and strengthening of the institutional and regulatory framework of water supply and sanitation (WSS) services on a medium-term basis through phasing of investments. The first tranche will finance three components: infrastructure improvement, institutional effectiveness, and support for project implementation.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Less than successful.
